Meeting & Launch
Guests meet the guide at a predetermined launch location based on current fishing conditions and target area. The trip will conclude at the same location following the charter. Specific launch details are confirmed in your booking communication.
Before you book.
When is the best time to fish?
Trips run year-round across our waters. Spring (February through May) is prime for trophy largemouth bass during the spawn. Summer offers steady bass and panfish action. Fall brings excellent crappie and bream fishing on the St. Johns. Winter remains productive for both bass and panfish in the Florida warmth.
Do I need a Florida fishing license?
Yes — all anglers 16 and older are required to have a valid Florida freshwater fishing license. Temporary 3-day and 7-day non-resident licenses are available online through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission at GoOutdoorsFlorida.com.
How many anglers can come on a trip?
Trip pricing covers up to 2 anglers. Additional anglers can be added at $100 per person.
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely. Bream and panfish trips are especially great for kids and families — fast-paced action and easy fishing.
Where do we meet for the trip?
Guests meet the guide at a predetermined launch location chosen based on current conditions and target species. Specific launch details are confirmed in your booking communication.
What's the deposit / cancellation policy?
Please reach out to confirm current deposit and cancellation specifics — policies may vary based on trip date and season. We're happy to walk you through it when you reach out to book.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Captain Oliver makes the call based on safety conditions. If we have to cancel for weather, we'll work with you to reschedule.
Do you keep fish or catch-and-release?
Captain Oliver believes in conservation and sustainable fishing practices. We're happy to release trophy bass for the next angler, while reasonable harvest of panfish and crappie is welcomed.
